Killer Blues regularly sponsors local blues events, for the purpose of  promoting local blues talent, and to raise funds for headstones and to support local art & music. Check here often to find out about upcoming shows, or to browse information on past events!

Spring is here, and so is another fun-filled blues event at Howmet Playhouse! Killer Blues is excited to bring you an evening of Blues harmonica, with headliner Bill Lupkin from Chicago! Opening the show will be Them Two Guys, and acoustic duo from Grand Haven, MI, featuring Catfish Johnny Stoneburner on harmonica!

Back by popular demand will be the tasty as ever Pistol Pete's Barbeque, and Michigan's own Founder's beer! Tickets are only $15, and are available at Howmet Playhouse, and at the door! Get yours early as this could be a sell-out!

The show starts at 7pm. Doors open at 6:30pm.

The next Killer Blues show will be on September 18, 2009, at The Howmet Playhouse in Whitehall, MI. Headlining will be West Michigan's own Big House Blues Band, and will feature special guests RB & Company (another West Michigan Favorite), an Washboard Jo. This show will be a benefit to raise money for the purchase of a headstone for Washboard Sam, aka: Robert Brown.

Time to get Your Blues On!

Killer Blues announces the 2nd Annual White Lake Blues Festival at Howmet Playhouse, 304 S. Mears in Whitehall, MI. This year's show will be on Saturday, May 9, 2009.

Headlining will be West Michigan's own James Reeser & The Backseat Drivers with special guest Buick & The Roadmasters, and a solo slide guitar set by Vincent Hayes!

This show is a benefit to raise money for the purchase of a headstone for Luther Tucker.

Tickets are available at Whitehall City Hall as well as Harbor Light Credit Union in Whitehall, MI.

Doors open at 6:30pm, and arrive thirsty, as Founder's Beer will be in abundance!

Saturday, September 13 @ 8pm, Killer Blues Presents: The Tomas Esparza Blues Explosion w/ Lonnie Blonde @ Howmet Playhouse!!!

This event is a benefit to raise money for Walter Vinson's long overdue headstone! As usual, the Killer will have Bell's beer on tap, and for an oh so fair price! Tickets are only $10, and available at the door, or in advance at Whitehall City Hall & Harborlight Credit Union in Whitehall. Doors open at 7:00pm. The last event was a success and enough money was raised for Big Maceo's headstone. Get your ticket now and help make this one even better!

Walter Vinson was a Delta Blues artist who made his name with the Mississppi Sheiks, and was responsible for the legendary song, "Sittin' On Top of The World".
